Strand Beach in top 12 in UK list
The National Trust-owned Portstewart Strand has been ranked within the top 12 beaches in the UK by ‘Rough Guides’.
Expressing delight Toby Edwards, National Trust Manager, said: “The team here take great pride in looking after the beach, with help from local residents who have a deep connection with the Strand and strive to keep it looking beautiful.
“With blue flag recognition year after year, Portstewart Strand never fails to leave a lasting impression with visitors, young and old. 50 things is also a firm favourite at the Strand offering families a 50 things adventure trail to complete on their day out. With dune walks and family fun days the fun never stops.”
