Workshops for rural youth

Young people aged 14-17 and living in rural South Antrim are being encouraged to broaden their horizons by taking part in workships organised by GROW.

In partnership with Local Action Groups in France, Estonia and Finland, and the Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster, GROW is looking for young people who live, or have a significant interest in, a rural area of Antrim, Carrickfergus or Newtownabbey Borough Council, to take part in workshops in Estonia and Northern Ireland.

The workshops are on the theme of dance and music and will take place in July and August 2014. 

The cost for participants is £200 per person for the Estonia workshop and £100 per person for the Northern Ireland workshops.

The application call will close at 12noon on February 28; applicants must be aged 14-17 at the date of travel.
