Equipment was not insured

Although a replacement is being sought, some say it will never mean the same as the one dedicated to the memory of James Elliott.

"This was James's bus and we can't begin to say how gutted we are at the loss of a bus we planned for months and fund-raised so endlessly for.

"The vehicle was insured but money will have to be found for the equipment and it won't be easy.

"You don't feel you can approach the community again, but what else can we do," one member said.

She added that when she heard the news she broke down and wondered just how anyone could have done such a thing.
