Estate's 'noisy neighbours' meeting

RESIDENTS at Beachlands in Carnlough have met with the police and Housing Executive officials in an effort to resolve complaints over alleged anti-social behaviour.

As previously reported, a number of people living in the estate have said they are “fed up to the teeth” following a series of rowdy all-night parties in flats. The PSNI has been called on several occasions.

Sinn Fein spokesman in East Antrim, Oliver McMullan, who said he had been invited to attend the meeting, added: “Something has to be done to resolve this situation once and for all.”
