Europa abseil event raises over £2,000

Over £2,000 was raised by members of a local charitable organisation by abseiling down the Europa Hotel in Belfast.

Zero-8-Teen is a charity formed in 1996 and dedicated to providing services and support for children and parents in the Craigavon area and beyond.

One such support service is that of Totz ‘n’ Teenz Child and Play Care Centre.

Recently, fearless supporters abseiled down the Europa Hotel in Belfast to raise much needed funds.

The organisers thanked parents Tracy, Tina and Simon, staff Caroline, Emma, Sadie and staff family member Sadie’s two sons Jonathan and David in addition to the Project Manager’s son Neal and his partner Maire who all made the day a huge success.

David and Neal also gained their employer’s interest and support with a result that each business donated £250.

These included Select Catering, DGH services (mechanical repairs) RSA NI Insurance

A whopping £2,354 was raised from which £250 will be donated to NSPCC and money used purchase the new equipment for the day care centre.
