The events offer dog owners the chance to avail of FREE microchipping, FREE poo bags, FREE information leaflets and £35 neuter vouchers (available to those eligible on a Means Tested Benefit).

The first events will take place at Galbally Community Centre, Dungannon on Monday 4, Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 of April from 11am – 3pm.

The following week, Monday 11, Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 April, the event moves to Clonoe Community Centre, Coalisland again from 11am -3pm.

As the law has now changed and all dogs must be microchipped, can you afford to miss this opportunity of getting it done for free?

Chair of the Council’s Environment Committee, Councillor Christine McFlynn is urging dog owners to come along and take advantage of all these events have to offer. She said:

“These Dogs Trust Dogs in the Community events are incredibly worthwhile and offer valuable services for dog owners in our community, including microchipping which is now a legal requirement for all dogs.” Visit www.chipmydog.org.uk
