Every little helps

CARRICK's Tesco Extra store has helped to raise over £13,000 for local people living with MS.

The money, which was raised through a series of collections at various Tesco stores across the province, will be donated to the Action MS Northern Ireland charity.

Action MS chief executive Ann Walker MBE said: “We were delighted to have had the opportunity to be associated with Tesco. Action MS, like Tesco, is very much a family and community organisation, sharing the same ethos of people first.

“We were pleased with the reception and courtesy extended by all Tesco staff, and the number of local people who spoke to us about someone with MS was amazing. It was a privilege to have been able to help, so thank you Tesco.”
