HORIZONS, the Lisburn based suicide awareness group, are planning to hold a Family Fun Night in Castle Gardens on Wednesday August 15. The event is an opportunity for young and old alike to join together, and is open to everyone.

Children can enjoy a number of activities including bouncy castle and rodeo bull and there will be ice-cream and light refreshments for all.

Horizons Chairman Brian Anderson commented: “We have had great support recently from a number of local organisations and individuals, and we see the Family night as a way to give something back.

“We have found that fellowship, simply meeting and having a chat, goes a long way to help someone on their journey following the loss of a loved one. No one needs an invitation to any of our events, just come along and you will be made welcome. We will be glad to see anyone from the greater Lisburn area who feels that they will benefit from the night.”

The event will start around 7 o’clock and finish around 8.30pm.
