He said: “I view this company location’s being a strategic one which will help to develop meaningful partnerships with other key city centre stakeholders: not least Lisburn City Centre Management, the Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, traders and the new Social Enterprise hub in Lisburn city centre.

“The Council is committed to ensuring that local residents are able to tap into as wide a range of support as possible to enable them to up skill, participate in training and gain new qualifications and employment opportunities.

“The city already benefits from a number of quality training and educational providers and I feel that the arrival of Springvale can only help to strengthen our offering locally, and give us an extra advantage over other areas in terms of skills development and skills enhancement.
