87% of students achieved Grades A* - C in five or more subjects, with many of the highest achieving students securing A* - B Grades.

Principal of Holy Trinity College, Mrs Isabel Russell, expressed her delight stating: “These exceptional achievements are the result of hard work, commitment and dedication on the part of both students and the entire staff, both teaching and support staff, and are evidence of the continued and invaluable support of parents and guardians. Holy Trinity’s GCSE students have enjoyed and grown in confidence not only from the range of academic and applied courses on offer but also, from the growing number of enrichment and extra- curricular programmes available to the pupils on a daily basis”.

She continued: “Holy Trinity College is an all ability and non-selective school. We maximise every opportunity possible to provide the best possible career pathway for each student regardless of ability. I am confident that these results will be an incentive to the incoming Year 12 students to ensure that they achieve even better in the year ahead. Every student should be very proud of their achievements today”.

Mrs Russell added: “Selecting the right course is essential at Post 16 but we believe, that with quality teaching and learning, dedicated and committed staff, independent learning and informative Careers advice, the students will reap the benefits of a Post 16 experience appropriate to their interests and Career”.

The College Senior Leadership Team send their appreciation for all involved in preparing the students and look forward to continued success as students embark on the next stage of education.
