Excess alcohol arrests
POLICE arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol in the Church Street area of Maghera earlier today. He was released pending further enquiries.
Meanwhile, a 46 year-old man is expected to appear at Magherafelt MC on August 14 charged with driving with excess alcohol and failing to provide a specimen.
The charges relate to an arrest made in Bellaghy on July 22 and, as usual, will be reviewed by the PPS.
