Exchange visit oppotunity for Coleraine RSPB members

THE monthly meeting of the Coleraine branch of the RSPC was held in St Patrick's Minor Hall last Monday.

Chairman Hill Dick welcomed a large audience and Cllr Sam Cole who gave members information on an exchange visit for bird watchers and all those interested in conservation to La Roche sur Yon during the first week on May. Anyone interested should contact Coleraine Borough Council for details.

The members enjoyed an excellent film show of Spring and Summer Birding in Scotland. An enjoyable and interesting evening concluded with a cup of tea. The monthly raffle was won by Peter Robinson.

The next monthly meeting will be held in St Patrick’s Minor Hall, Circular Road, Coleraine, on Monday, March 15 at 7.30pm. Guest speaker will be project manager John Scovell talking on the ongoing work at Portmore Lough. Everyone welcome.
