Exhibition and Praise Service for charity

A highly successful exhibition featuring items from World Wars 1 and 11 and a Praise Service has led to two charitable organisations receiving a financial boost.

The exhibition at Roseyards Presbyterian Church hall late last year was a big crowd puller and earned praise for its professionalism and attention to detail.

A Praise Service, led by the PSNI Ladies Choir, also drew a large crowd and the collection taken up delighted the organisers.

The proceeds were subsequently handed over to representatives of the RUC Benevolent Fun and Help the Heroes Charity at a function at the Church hall recently.

Mr. Neal Robinson represented the Help the Heroes Charity while Evelyn Brown and Elaine Robie were present on behalf of the RUC Benevolent Fund.

The organising committee would like to thank the members of the congregation and the community for their support at the two events.
