Extension works welcomed at Carnaghts

The current phase, due for completion at the end of January, consists of a superb new multi-purpose sports hall, toilets, stores, kitchen and hygiene room.

The next phase will see two new tuition rooms, a new staff room and cloakrooms being provided.

The new playground, already constructed, will include a fantastic outdoor adventure play area.

“Everyone connected with the school cannot wait to use the new facilities and this will allow us to maintain the ethos of a rural school while having the facilities to match larger, new school buildings,” says Principal, Mr Ian Henderson.

Due to the building work the school is not holding an Open Day this year.
