Extra bus service for Limavady town

The new service will run at 10am on Saturday mornings. The East Londonderry DUP MLA said: ““I had been approached with regard to the new timings of the town service on a Saturday did not suit passengers. In my contact with Translink I had hoped to maybe alter the timings of one of the buses but instead I was pleasantly surprised when the area management decided to put on an additional earlier service.

“I welcome this addition and the response of Translink to my representations. It is now up to those who use the service to ensure it is well used so that there is no chance of the service being removed again if it is not being used adequately. It costs money for Translink to provide such a service and when money is tight, as it is in the present climate, an investment of this magnitude has to be proven to be viable.”
