Facebook users moot mephedrone protest
IT IS understood that concerned local people are considering holding a street protest in Larne over the sale of mephedrone.
Messages uring people to stage a protest have appeared on the social networking website Facebook.
The drug, said to be sold as a plant food and not for human consumption, will become a class B substance from tomorrow (Friday), meaning it will be controlled like amphetamines.
