Thirty-year-old Clarke Halliday, Magherana Park, Waringstown, was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

The court heard that he was stopped on December 9 last year in William Street and asked to produce his certificate of insurance.

Mr Paddy Moriarty, representing the defendant, said his client was busy at work in the run up to Christmas and simply overlooked the matter.
