Families urged to vote for favourites

Important Mini People, Sullatober Day Care, and Minor Miracles are all in the running for the Best Nursery accolade.

Meanwhile, Brewers Fayre restaurant on Rodgers Quay has been nominated in the Best Family Restaurant and Best Soft Play Area categories.

There are also a number of ‘people awards’ including Business Parent of the Year, Superstar Sibling, and Grandparent of the Year.

As well as acknowledging the important people your family relies on, the awards are a chance to also acknowledge those businesses who help make every-day life happier, easier, or just that little bit more pleasurable.

“From the best restaurant, best activity or best day out to the best nursery, it’s up to you to get voting for your family favourites,” said awards founder, Ann King.

Voting lines are now open at www.familiesfirst.ie and families across the province are invited to nominate their heroes and vote for their favourite family friendly businesses.

The closing date for entries and votes will be Friday, January 29.
