Ginger went missing from the car park of Glenburn Veterinary Surgery on the Antrim Road in Glengormley on Tuesday, August 30 at 7pm.

He had just had an operation at the surgery.

The cat, which is aged around 11/12, was last seen running down the Antrim Road towards the Ballyclare Road junction.

Speaking to the Times, Ginger’s owner Grahame said: “Ginger is microchipped and a neutered male. He has distinctive markings on his body that look like a shell and rings on his long tail.

“His left ear has a little bit off it at the top and he has distinctive piercing eyes. Around his mouth he has black marks from age and one tooth at the front.

“He is an elderly man, aged around 11/12 years old, who is strong and well built and can meow loudly for attention.”
