Family fun day at Knockeden Lodge

A wide range of activities are planned for the family fun day which has been organised for Saturday 31, with all proceeds going towards the Help for Heroes charity.

Show off your football skills with the beat the goalie competition, there will also be a bouncy castle which is usually just as popular with the grown ups. There is also a fancy dress and a tombolla.

On the day there will be a number of competitions, including a raffle, all with great prizes.

That night a BBQ and disco has been planned for the adults, topping off what is going to be a great day.

The event was organised to benefit the Help the Heroes charity with a number of local soldiers set to go to Afghanistan in September.

Help for Heroes support those wounded in the current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The family fun day is from 2pm-6pm and the disco is from 9pm until late with 7 admission.

Everyone is welcome and all proceeds go to the very worthy cause.
