Mayor, Alderman William Leathem, said: “We hope there is something that will appeal to everyone this summer in Wallace Park. The park is looking really fantastic at the moment and the bandstand provides a great central location to allow for performances, drama, music and local talent. The Chairman of the Leisure Services Committee, Cllr Thomas Beckett, said: “Following on from last year’s success of all the summer events which were well attended, we once again hope that Wallace Park will provide a shared space for all the community to attend our planned programme of events. I would encourage people to get a copy of the Park Life magazine and find out what’s on over the summertime.

“Wallace Park is a perfect backdrop and hopefully with a bit of good weather, the weekends will see plenty of entertainment on at Lisburn,” he concluded.
