Family woman Anne McCleary passes away

Anne was born in Woodville Street in Lurgan in 1938.

She was the youngest of eight children.

Anne married her childhood sweetheart, the late Willie McCleary from Grattan Street.They had four children, Donna, Linda, Maurice and Neil.

Many will affectionately remember Anne from when she worked in hospitality and catering. Anne had worked in a number of local restaurants over the years. Prior to her retirement Anne had worked in Fusco’s on the Ormeau Road in Belfast.

Anne lived in Stevenson Park and enjoyed her retirement years. She was a familiar sight walking her beloved dogs Jack and Neil.

Her funeral took place at St Paul’s Church in Lurgan and interment was at St Colman’s Cemetery. She is survived by her sisters Mary, Eileen, Shelia, Joan, Dympna and brother Brian. Beloved mother-in-law of Colm, Gerard and Sonia, and a loving grandmother and great grandmother.
