Fan still critical after NW200 accident

A man aged in his 20s remains critically ill in hospital after falling off a cliff at the North West 200.

The man suffered a serious head injury when he landed on rocks below last Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said the man had fallen around 60 feet from a cliff top.

The accident happened as the spectator watched a race on the Ballyreagh Road in Portrush, close to the Rock Restaurant.
