The Anchor

Another full house is expected at The Anchor complex this Friday night with Plug and Dom in the Anchor Bar and Brian Moore next door in the Anchorage Style Bar. The popular duo played there a fortnight ago and the management were staggered by the number of people who tuned up. “Fridays are quiet all around the country but it seems we’re bucking the trend” a spokesman for the venue told us “and with a full diary of promotions and attractions we don’t intend to let it slip”. The venue would also thinks the recent themed nights with the X-Factor’s Stevie Starr, mimic and actor Dean Taylor, the Beach Party night and the more recent Air Show themed night promoted a lot of chat about the venue (as the hundreds of photographs on Facebook would illustrate).
