Fane Valley Storesacquires McCaughan

Established in 1959, McCaughan Animal Health is a prominent retailer of animal health products and associated farm requisites trading from three locations in Omagh (Omagh Livestock Centre), Ballymena (Ballymena Livestock Centre) and Ballycastle. In addition McCaughan’s employ several field sales representatives selling predominantly in Counties Antrim, Londonderry/Derry and Tyrone.

James McCaughan, from McCaughan Animal Health commented: “Since my father Frank established the business 55 years ago, McCaughan Animal Health has grown into a highly trusted and respected retail and on-farm animal health business across Northern Ireland.

“None of what has been achieved from our base in Ballycastle would have been possible without the hard work of our staff and the continued loyalty of our customers. On behalf of the McCaughan family, I would like to put on record our deep gratitude and appreciation for the support the business received from the local farming community over six decades.
