Farm alert! Places still available for tractor theft event

Police in Cushendall, working in partnership with the CESAR marking scheme, are helping farmers to prevent the theft of vital farm vehicles, such as tractors, plant and quads, by holding a unique ‘CESAR It’ day later this month.

The fitting of the popular CESAR vehicle marking system will be offered at a hugely reduced price at the event at McKay Brothers, 141 Torr Road, Cushendun on Tuesday 23rd October. Places must be booked in advance.

The first 20 farmers who register for the CESAR It day can have the benefit of a CESAR kit fitted to one of their vehicles at a price of £79 (plus VAT) for larger machinery and £69 (plus VAT) for quads etc. This is a huge reduction on the standard ex-VAT prices of £150 and £140 respectively.

To register for the ‘CESAR It’ event please contact McKay Brothers on 07759382778 or Cushendall Neighbourhood Policing Team on the Police non-emergency number 0845 600 8000 Ext 87200.
