“We decided to try and link the school’s trip this year with a learning experience which provided a lot of fun at the same time,” said principal Brídín Ní Dhonnghaile.

“We felt the Open Farm Weekend was the perfect chance for the children to share their existing knowledge on farms and to learn a lot more through practical activities and fun games. All the children had a fantastic day with some of them returning to the farm with their families at the weekend. I would like to thank the staff at Broughgammon farm for providing an excellent well structured day for the children, and I would recommend a visit to the farm for everyone.”
