Farmers’ Market at Rushmere

RUSHMERE Shopping Centre last week opened its doors to the first in a series of Farmers’ Markets held on the centre’s upper car park.

There was a variety of market stalls full of delicious, local treats and a selection of great home-grown seasonal produce.

Centre manager Martin Walsh said: “We’re still open to applications from other potential stall holders so if anyone would like to get involved they should contact the centre’s customer service desk.”

The market will be appearing on the first Wednesday of every month throughout 2013 from 9am to 1pm with traders including Forthill Farm shop from Tandragee, Bake My Day from Armagh and Valley Crust from Gilnahirk to name a few.
