Farmers urged to be vigilant

FARMERS are being warned to be on the lookout for suspicious activity after an incident involving missing sheep.

A farmer checking on his livestock in the Drumbroneth Road area of Dromore contacted police to say that a number of sheep were missing from a flock grazing on nearby farmland on February 26. A search for the animals eventually located them in an outbuilding.

Police have asked farmers to be vigilant with their animals and be on the lookout for the movements of any unfamiliar vehicles or individuals.
