Farquhar out of intensive care as condition improves
The Dungannon man was seriously injured when he was involved in a crash at the North West 200 race meeting on May 12.
He was initially admitted to the ICU but the 40-year-old appeared to be on the mend last week and was photographed back on the hospital ward in a positive mood.

There had been unconfirmed reports during the week that Farquhar’s condition was again improving - and his close friend and fellow motorcycling star Jeremy McWilliams tweeted a picture on Wednesday of an ice lolly he was taking to the RVH at Farquhar’s request.
It was then confirmed on Friday evening that Farquhar had improved and was out of intensive care.
