Fate is sealed for Laser chain

INDEPENDENT electrical retailer Laser is to close all of its stores in Northern Ireland.

Fears of closure were rife after the company went into administration on April 1.

On Friday administrators KPMG confirmed the company, which has a store on Millennium Way in Lurgan, was to close all its branches.

The Northern Ireland Independent Retail Trade Association described the closure and the loss of 140 jobs across the province as a sad loss to local economy.
