Faughan Valley 1985 cash donation
On January 30, 1985, the Londonderry Sentinel featured this picture on Page 3.
It shows Faughan Valley High School pupils Karen Rutherford and Rhonda Thompson, handing over a cheque for £40, the proceeds from a raffle for a cuddly dog, to Mr Raymond Lloyd, area organiser for Dr Barnardo’s.
Included in the picture is Mrs Anne McAuley, the Vice-Principal of the school.
