EAST Antrim MLA Alastair Ross is encouraging older people in the community to make their voices heard in advance of the next Assembly.

The DUP representative said: “Older people are one of society’s most vulnerable groups and we must ensure that they have an opportunity to be heard. It is important that people of all ages engage with political representatives, and whilst I have found that it is easier to engage with younger people because of new media technology, I want to give older people the same opportunity.

“As part of that process I have a number of surveys in my offices in both Larne and Carrickfergus that older people can fill in, detailing their concerns and priorities for the next Assembly mandate. “

The party has an office at 31 Lancasterian Street, Carrick, and can be contacted at 93329980.
