Fellowship meeting gets off to a great start!

THE first meeting of The Health Service Retirement Fellowship, Causeway Branch took place in the Causeway Hospital on the 8th September 2010 .

Mrs Willa Robinson, the newly appointed chairman extended a warm welcome to everyone and introduced the speaker, David McClarty MLA . He totally captivated his audience as he talked about his “Life and Work” and the very fruitful and fulfilling life he experiences in his role as a politician. No two days were the same, he derives great satisfaction from helping people who did not know where to turn and providing a listening ear. He recalled many amusing anecdotes and a typical working day. Mrs Rosemary Graham proposed a vote of thanks.

The Annual conference for the Region will be held in Cookstown on Thursday 16th September when the speaker will be Dr Colm Donaghy of the Southern Social Care Trust.
