Ferry withdrawal hasn't been costed

Tourism Minister Jonathan Bell says his Department hasn't assessed the potential economic impact of the withdrawal of the Magilligan to Greencastle Ferry service.

He was asked about the withdrawal of the cross-border ferry facility by Mid Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) MLA Sandra Overend.

“My Department has not carried out an assessment of the economic impact of the withdrawal of the Magilligan to Greencastle Ferry service,” he said.

Former Transport Minister Danny Kennedy confirmed there was no record of correspondence on the ferry.
