Festival goers urged to have their say on plans for new Maritime Museum

A pop-up museum has been provided at the LegenDerry Maritime Festival to engage with festival-goers and urge them to have their say on an exciting new maritime museum planned for the city.

Members of the public can take the opportunity to fill in postcard questionnaires asking what they would like to see featured in the museum. People are also being asked to suggest what the 2,200 square metre maritime museum on the Ebrington site should be called. The postcard questionnaires will also be available in the Tower Museum at Union Hall Place in the city centre where you can also see a small temporary exhibition celebrating our maritime heritage.
