Festival talk by Islandmagee witch trial author
Novelist Martina Devlin, who penned a novel on the Islandmagee witch trials, is to appear at The John Hewitt Spring Festival on April 25.
The novelist will examine how fear of difference devastated the lives of eight women convicted of witchcraft, fictionalised in her novel “The House where it happened.” Tickets are on sale at johnhewittsociety.org/spring-festival/
