Tickets are £12.50 available from the club or any of the fighter.

A spokesperson said: “We have 26 fighters from several football, cricket and sports clubs as well as individuals who are up for the challenge.

“The fighters have been in training with Eglinton boxing club for the last few weeks and will continue to train intensely until fight night.

“The coaches have been putting them through their paces with fitness training and pad work and getting them into the ring for sparring practice.

“Everyone has taken on the challenge and has been training hard with the knowledge that 700 people will be watching as they enter the ropes.”

Each fighter is raising money for their chosen charity or club, they have sponsor sheets in the run up to the fight and a donation table will be set up on the night where people can give for a particular fighter’s club or charity.

The organising team and coaches are working on matching up the fighters based on weight and ability. All information on the fights will be released as it becomes available so watch this space!
