Find food is sweetest in the valley

Endeavour to let some thoughts take flight

Believe you will reach your goal somehow

Give no thought to uneventful days

Mindful life is here and now.

You’ll gain more strength by being stable

With the strength God has given too

To live calmly amidst the gathering storm

In the pathway designed for you.

For He infuses the element of joy

When His face we earnestly seek

And find food is sweetest in the valley

Than on the mountain peak.

So many changes life has brought

This no one can deny

But your Saviour’s love remains the same

And on Him you can rely.
