Zudrunas Tvirkutis, Levaghery Gardens, Portadown, was also fined £250.

For not having a driving licence he was fined £100 and given a concurrent six month ban.

The court heard that the defendant was stopped while driving a car at Oakwood in Portadown on February 16 this year.

A solicitor representing the defendant said he had a Lithuanian licence but had lost it and to get a new one he would have to travel to Lithuania.

He added that his client did have insurance but it was cancelled by the insurance company.
