Fined for careless driving after three vehicle collision
A 60-year-old man was fined £250 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without due care and attention on May 31 this year.
David Robinson, whose address was given to the court as Waringfield Park, Moira, was also given three penalty points and was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that a three vehicle road traffic accident happened at around 11.15am at Kiln Road, Lurgan.
A solicitor for the defendant said he collided with an oncoming vehicle. He misjudged the speed of the vehicle.
The solicitor added that Robinson had been driving for 40 years with a clear record.
