Fined for possession of cannabis

Two Craigavon residents have each been fined £150 and ordered to pay a £15 offender's levy for possession of cannabis.

Darren Joseph McNally, (33) of Avondale Manor, admitted the offence which happened on February 16.

Mr Richard Monteith, defending, said McNally had a lengthy record but there were no drugs convictions on it.

Christina Carlisle, Enniskeen - aged 32 - admitted unlawful possession of cannabis on April 8 this year.

The court heard she had herbal cannabis valued at £5. Her barrister said she had a very limited record.
