Finvoy YFC car wash and coffee morning

ON Saturday April 24 Finvoy YFC held their charity carwash at Finvoy Presbyterian Church hall.

A full spread of tea and coffee, scones, pancakes and muffins was put on for all guests at the event.

The event was very well supported and a fun and enjoyable day was had by all who came and all those who helped to wash the cars.

Even though it was a nice dry day, every member still managed to go home soaking wet! A grand total of 260 was raised for the Community Rescue Service, a brilliant amount considering it only cost 5 per car!

Finvoy also held their Annual Church service at Finvoy Presbyterian Church on Sunday the 25th April 2010. The service was conducted by the Reverend Roy Gaston and everyone enjoyed a cup of tea in the hall after. Both these events were supported very well and the member of Finvoy YFC would like to thank everyone who came.
