Fire at Finaghy house

The woman was treated for mild smoke inhalation after a fire started at the premises at Orchardville Gardens in the village, around 6.30am last Monday.

Fire crews gave aid to the woman but she refused to attend hospital.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet and a covering jet to extinguish the blaze which is believed to have started in the kitchen.

Crews ventilated the smoke from the premises before leaving.

Fire crews from Cadogan station also attended the incident.
