Fire Service use Lucas cutting equipment to free trapped motorist
One vehicle overturned and ended up in a garden, and members of the Fire and Rescue Service were called in to effect a rescue using specialist cutting equipment.
The alert was raised at 2.20pm on Monday, and a PSNI spokesman said the road was blocked and motorists were advised to avoid the area. The scene was cleared by 5.44pm.

Hide AdA spokeswoman for the Fire and Rescue Service said three appliances from Crescent Link Station were tasked to the scene and on arrival the fire crews were presented with a two vehicle collision.
“Five persons were in one car, and a male, who was trapped, was released using hydraulic cutting equipment,” she said, adding: “ The male was taken to hospital by Ambulance, as were the other four people in this car, which included two children.”
She added: “The person in the other vehicle was uninjured.
Fire and Rescue Service involvement in the incident was completed by 3.03pm.
