‘Firearm’ pointed at man

Lisburn police are appealing for information following an incident in the Pond Park area on Monday February 9 at 8pm when a masked man pointed what appeared to be a firearm at a passerby.

Chief Inspector John Wilson said that a man was walking along the Pond Park Road close to the junction of Prospect Park when a vehicle travelling out of Lisburn stopped.

A passenger who was wearing a balaclava then pointed what appeared to be a firearm at him. A short time later the vehicle sped off. The vehicle is described as a silver coloured 5 door saloon.
