Firefighters rescue man from Lurgan arson attack
Firefighters have rescued a man from a deliberate blaze in Lurgan today (Wednesday).
A mattress had been set alight in the stairwell of flats in Mark St this afternoon.
A man in his 20s was trapped in an upstairs flat.
Three fire appliances were taskedat 3.50pm.
A man was rescued by fire fighters, said a spokesperson for the NI Fire and Rescue Service.
An ambulance was called but it is understood the man was not injured.
The fire is being treated as arson.
