Firefighters rescue man stuck in mud on Carnmoney Hill
Firefighters from Glengormley and Belfast were called to Carnmoney Hill on Tuesday morning (February 23) to rescue a man who'd become trapped in thick mud.
It’s understood the man was taking photographs in the area when he got into difficulty.
A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “NIFRS received a call at 7:59am to a report of a man trapped in the Carnmoney Hill area of Glengormley.

Hide Ad“One Fire Appliance from Glengormley Fire Station and one Fire Appliance from Central Fire Station were deployed to the scene of a man trapped in thick mud in the area.
“Firefighters rescued the man using a long tailed shovel and assisted him from the area. There were no reports of any injuries.
“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service finished at the scene at 9:01am.”
