‘Fireside politics won’t work’ says Torrent election candidate

DUP candidate for the Torrent DEA, Keith Buchanan has urged everyone eligible to vote to make sure that they do so on during the forthcoming elections on May 22.

Mr Buchanan said: “Please make sure that you are on the register and have received your polling card to be assured of a vote, bringing the correct identification required at the polling station.

“If you have any queries either on the local Council Elections or the European Elections please contact your local DUP office at Fairhill Road Cookstown on 02886764952 or Church Street Dungannon on 02887752799.”

Mr Buchanan added: “This is your opportunity for change, with every vote counting, fireside politics does not work, get up get out and vote!”

Concern was expressed recently by Mr Buchanan that the new electoral boundaries were leaving the public confused. Mr Buchanan said that anyone who is still confused about the boundaries to contact the DUP offices in both Dungannon and Cookstown can help clarify any issues.

The new Torrent DEA is comprised of: Donaghmore, (Cappagh,Carland, Lisnagleer) Coalisland North, (Newmills) Coalisland South, Stewartstown, (Donaghey, Brigh, Ardtrea, Kingsmills)Ardboe, and Washing Bay.”
