First Ahoghill ready to open

Anyone who would like to be part of the congregation on that day is asked to be seated by 2.15pm and the opening ceremony will begin at 2.30pm. The building will be opened by Mr. Tommy Boyd, the fellowships senior elder. The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church, Rt. Rev. Rob Craig will offer up prayer and preach the sermon in the service of worship that will follow the opening.

Work on the new facility began in June of 2012 and finished just last month; it took around 2.5 million pounds to complete the new facility, which is certain to enhance the already vibrant work and witness of one of Ballymena’s longest-standing churches.

Current minister, Rev. Eddie Kirk, the Kirk Session, Committee and membership of First Ahoghill look forward to welcoming you on what promises to be a very special occasion.
